today, i want to show you some rock music elements.

actually i do not really love the rock n roll music because i think it's noisy and annoying. 

but, Avril's rock music i can totally associate lol.

so, we gonna share Avril's cool music together!

Introduction to Avril Lavigne:

Avril Ramona Lavigne, born in 27 September 1984, and she is a Canadian singer-songwriter. 

when she was 15, she had appeared on stage ; in her 16, 

she had signed a two-album recording contract with Arista Records worth more than $2 million. 

In 2002, when she was 17 years old, Lavigne broke onto the music scene with her debut album Let Go 

and it  made Lavigne become the youngest female soloist to reach No. 1 in the UK.

Her second album, Under My Skin, was released in 2004 and was her first album to peak at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200, eventually selling more than 10 million copies worldwide.

her talents appeared very early when she was 2 years old only, her mother heard her sang a song in the church.

her guitar was learned by herself when she was 12.

One day when she performed in a bookstore, she was found by her first agent.

and then she entered the showbiz to pursuit her dream.

her music styles :Pop punk, pop rock, power pop.

About the Album:

it's her second album, she added the totally different elements from the first one, she thought she had more experience about producing an album.

moreover, she knew well what she wanted.

Avril expand the style of her songs from simple alternative to the edge of Gothic rock and traditional pop punk.

the song Slipped Away was for her passed away grandfather in order to memorize him, she wrote this song.

Don't Tell Me was the song she produced in her 17 with her friend in a hotel.

her songs and music express what she thought and what she wanted to say directly, no disguise, no euphemistic words,

she just wanted to sang her demands loudly!!!

Songs Introduction:

1. Don't Tell Me

This song's really coooooooool!! 

It's subject matter is "female's rights". It narrates a story that A boy want to have sex before the girl was ready.

the struggle in the girl's heart was so deep, but then she made decision that if the boy did the improper actions,

she would kick his ass to make him never foget

the Heavy rhythmic guitar accompaniment made us be impressed by the song when we listend it first time.

moreover, the song extended the artistic conception of the former song "Complicated" (click it to listen it on YouTube if you'r interested in.)

2. He Wasn't

 If you are one of the guitar holic like me, you will surely enjoy the guita main outs in this song

it describe that "He" wasn't the Mr. Right.

everytime they were together, she would feel bored and upset because he didn't make her feel that she was the special someone.

so she decided to "fire" him because "She's special" and he wasn't the one she looked for.

3.My Happy Ending

this song is my alarm clock bell lol!

it told about a common matter nowadays that 

even if lovers didn't love each other anymore, they would not talk about it just as "they were dead"

there's no communication between them, they were all pretending and disguising themselves.

but it was important that not to delay each other.

It's time to talk about it and give each other a happy ending.
