Olivia Ong is one of my favorite singer, 

though she's not western singer, i still want to introduce her to you.

Olivia's Intoduction:

she's a singapore singer. her songs are mainly in English and Japanese,

when she was 15, she attended a singing contest and was signed to Japanese recording company S2S Pte Ltd.

in 2005, she  released her bestselling début, A Girl Meets Bossa Nova at only 19.

With her sultry, soulful, pristine and innocent vocals, she reinterprets Frank Sinatra's hits such as "Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars", 

among other jazz and pop numbers. 

she's the first singaporean singer that became famous through Japan music market.

in 2009, she attended <<One Million Star Season 5>> PK, and get highly attention because of her voice.

Olivia album "Romance" theme concept is to present the summer, a pleasant, youthful ,love feeling,

so they chose  the city night street as the background,  Olivia dressed like a pretty girl who rushed to a date at night.

she reveled in the sweet love,so, in main road she constantly rotating, swinging skirt, make a lot of light movement so that the photographer to capture the summer night romantic shadows.

1. A Love Theme

 what is the most beautiful words in the world, in this song, she said: it's I love you.

It is a sweet, romantic light jazz song that Olivia created with her music partner,zai-zai.

with the light and soft melody, plus Olivia's fascinating voice, it's indeed a outstanding one.

2. Let it Rain

Olivia's fresh and elegant creation, the three beats Waltz and Disney style's music, making the rain become so romantic!

In our daily life, there's a lot of obstacles and things cannot really go well,

however, in this song, she tells us that just let it rain, let it be,

The fine weather and rainbow will appear after the rain,
so do not be trapped in unhappy emotions.

3.Sing

A little retro, a little rock and roll, in this song, you can hear the different Olivia Ong.

there's strong sense of rhythm in this song so that Olivia need to break the previous vocal style and just burst out her voice.

and the song's make me feel that, she just want to tell us, 

there's nothing more important than your dream, so just singing,singing, and singing.

and it has a specialty at about 4:30, i thought the song finished, but after 10 seconds, the voice appeared again, make me feel i'm not get enough.

4 Invisible Wings

it's a song covered from Angela Zhang's "隱形的翅膀", and she rewrite the lyrics into the English one. 

she maintain the original spirit that to appreciate friends' companies.

when she rewrote it, Japan just encountered Fukushima nuclear disaster, so she plus the element to help japanese friends praying.

therefore, we can feel the warmth through this song.

5.Back to Life

it's a very strong explosive rock ballad, and Olivia said that she'd never sang this kind song before, so she worried about it very much.

Finally, with the encouragement of producers and  her close friends, she completely boldly opened her mind to sing, 

she complete the challenge and overcome her fear.

the lyric told about that after the depression, she's already gone through and she's back to life. 

she's ready to face the next chellenge.

6. Amazing Grace

a classic chant's new cover by Olivia.

there's lots of covers that people sang this song, most of them sang it powefully. 

however, this cover, Olivia used only cello and guitar to present a simple and calm feelings.

this song keep me company with the stay up late studying night. 

when i was depressed, this song can give me the power to go through it.
